JOHN CALE

DESCRIPTION:

Mercy finds John Cale in his most contemporary form yet, a remarkable feat for an artist whose career stretches back over six decades. The album brings together a striking cast of collaborators including Weyes Blood, Animal Collective, and Sylvan Esso, each adding their own texture to Cale's ever-evolving sonic palette.

Across eleven tracks, the record moves through hazy, drone-inflected soundscapes and intimate, contemplative moments, proving that Cale's appetite for experimentation has lost none of its edge.
